FROMA

Melrose just got its own little gourmet store.
After a long day of shopping you can stop by and pick up a pound of squid ink trofie pasta, some Arbequina olives, chocolate-covered fleur de sel caramels in an edible chocolate box by Charles Chocolates, an espresso made from Danesi beans or a bresaola, goat cheese and arugula panini from the impressive panini menu. Currently they don't have wine but i stopped in yesterday and said they just got their liquor license and they will be getting wine within the next couple of weeks.

I left with some tartufo cheese, a delicious creamy french cheese...
and I want to go back for more!!!

The owners Sommelier Francine Diamond, who is from Quebec, and German-born Ca' del Sole executive chef Soerke Peters. Diamond's husband, Cut steakhouse general manager Matteo Ferdinandi, is the manager there.
